What your storefront says before you open the door

Customers judge a business in under three seconds from the sidewalk. Here is what they are actually reading.
A storefront sign is rarely read as words first. It is read as evidence — of care, of budget, of whether the business inside is still trading.
Legibility beats cleverness. Set your name at a weight and size that resolves from across four lanes of traffic, then let the material and lighting carry the personality.
Night presence matters more than most owners expect. A facade that disappears after sunset loses half of its working hours. Halo-lit letters, a lit blade sign or even a well-aimed gooseneck changes the economics of evening trade.
Finally, consistency. When the sign, the window film, the van and the interior all share one system, the business reads as bigger and more established than its square footage suggests.
